Zach came to Lakeside in January of 2018 as a youth intern before becoming the Youth and Children’s Pastor in March of the same year.

In July, he married the love of his life, Toni, and has been serving the Lord at Lakeside ever since.  In November of 2019, the Lord blessed them with their precious daughter, Maelyn Grace, and in September of 2021, God blessed Zach and Toni with their son James Gideon. For Zach and Toni, it is the thrill of their lives to be able to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, and to primarily serve the teens and children of Lakeside.

Prior to coming to Lakeside, Zach and Toni both graduated from West Coast Baptist College in 2017 and 2016, respectively.  While in college, they both took advantage of many opportunities to minister to teens and children.  Zach spent four summers as a camp counselor at The Wilds of North Carolina, and he also had the opportunity to become a volunteer youth pastor during his senior year of Bible College. Toni was a youth worker at her local church in Lancaster, CA.

When not at the church or at home, Zach enjoys playing basketball, golf, and cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels! Toni enjoys going to Starbucks, hiking, and shopping.
